End of the day

So now they lay all nestled snug in their beds, while visions of breaking everything in my house tomorrow dance through their heads . . .

Here is what happened during the shower. . .

And here is what happened tonight while I was out. I get a text from Jeff that reads , "Lizzy just broke something else."

I hope Drop Dead Fred hasn't come to live at my house. Maybe tomorrow it'll be a mud pie on the kitchen table. . .

Wow! You've really had a rough couple of days. Can we bring you some meals...or a cleaning crew? Hang in there! :)

It's a real good thing that they are all so dang cute! Huh? That is what I have to repeat over and over on days like yours!

Oh no! Sorry it was so bad! To make you feel any better, my mom just came home for good from Logan where she's been helping my sister since January. My dad has been alone most of the year. Not good. She is going crazy today. The floors she said haven't been vacuumed or mopped in that time. She can't even find any of the parts to her vacuum. An enormous layer of dust covers all window treatments. You can't even see your reflection in the bathroom mirror and the sinks have a nice thick layer of hairspray grime. There's a crazy buddha shrine on the coffee table and a giant surfboard in the corner of the family room. A year of junk mail piles are all over the house....I'm going over to help her clean on Friday. Men are not meant to live alone. I told her at least dad took out the garbage and cleaned dishes and there are no flies or roaches in the house.

Oh I so remember those days. I remember when Sean was little and I would be in the midst of cleaning up one big mess only for him to demolish something else. Good times. At least it wasn't blood.

Oh sorry, just read the next post. I guess there WAS blood. Sorry.
